Muldoon Farmers Market is moving! Open 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018, in the Muldoon Town Square portion of Chanshtnu Muldoon Park at 1301 Muldoon Road (DeBarr). PARKING: Muldoon Mall lot just north of the park with a walkway directly to the market (upper right hand corner of above map). The market will be open 9 a.m.-2 p.m. every Saturday, June 23 through September 28.

It’s official! The Anchorage Assembly approved a name – Chanshtnu Muldoon Park – for our community park July 25, 2017. Chanshtnu (pronounced CHANSH-nu), meaning “grass creek,” is the Dena’ina word for Chester Creek, which winds through the park at 1301 Muldoon Road.
The U.S. Department of the Interior and the National Park Service announced a grant of $750,000 to the city toward development of Phase 2 of the park last week in July. Map: Continue reading
