Scenic Foothills Community Council (SFCC) will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 3, in the auditorium at Wayland Baptist University, 7801 East 32nd Avenue. Access via Old Muldoon Road off 36th Avenue, west of Muldoon Road.
THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO POLITICS AT OUR NOV. 3 SFCC MEETING.
Candidates for office will not make any speeches. Legislative updates will be postponed to December’s meeting. Instead, we will hear Chinese immersion students from Scenic Park Elementary School sing two songs in Chinese and learn more about refugees resettled in Alaska with help from Refugee Assistance and Immigration Services (RAIS).
Assembly representatives and a member of the School Board will be available to keep us informed on current issues of interest to us or that may require our input for their deliberations. A light agenda this month will give us time to discuss neighborhood concerns and help establish agendas for future meetings.
Please come! We have plenty of room and everyone is welcome. See the paragraph above for links to the agenda and the newsletter with more information.
